Helping people improve performance in whatever they do requires trust, courage and foresight on behalf of the individual, the trainer and the person paying the bill.

We talk of high flyers as being the breadwinners of any organisation how do you get more of them? If you had more the organisation would prosper.
So the safe and cheapest option is to give basic training for individuals to do the job and then rely on ‘old hands’ and “sitting with Nelly”. Or alternatively, train well, only to have the staff leave and give the benefits of the training to other organisations. Put both scenarios together and you have a moribund company ready for take over. What happens to staff if you don’t train and they stay and Nelly gets older and retires?
